Project general information and awards: Prominently located with three street frontages – Pitt, Bridge and Gresham Streets – the property is built on land that originally housed the Sydney Stock and Wool Exchange and still proudly features the 1889 Lady of Commerce statue.
With 56 Pitt Street boasting Opera House and harbour views and a vibrant ground floor café, it was important the balustrade was of the highest design and finish in order to meet the high standard of building, heritage and history associated with the property.
Awards: 56 Pitt offers 26 levels of B-Grade office space with 800 square metres typical floor areas. Achieving a 5 star NABERS Energy rating
Finish / Products used: over 14 pieces of precisely laser 10mm stainless steel plate to then individually weld together to form the sophisticated and elegant posts with handrail glazed with structural glass infills.
Project Scope: Bright Balustrading was pleased to have been asked to site measure and fabricate, design, supply and install a fully custom stainless steel and glass balustrade.
